When is the best time to apply for my visa?
The best time to apply for your visa is 1-2 months before your travel date. However, if you are running short on time, for some countries we may be able to process your visa in as little as 1 business day. For example, if you overnight your application to us on Monday, you can have it back in your hand on Wednesday with our same-day rush service.

Do I have to send you my passport to get a Algeria visa? Is it safe to send a passport?
Yes. You will need to send your actual passport, not a copy of it. The Algeria visa is stamped on your passport and will become one of your passport pages. Visa request cannot be processed without your original passport. Because of the importance of your passport, we strongly suggest that you send your application by a secure method, such as a guaranteed postal service or courier.

Sample of the Business Travel Requirements for an Algeria Business Travel Visa Requirements for Belgian Citizens

  1. Passport

    The applicant's passport must:

    • Be valid for at least six months upon arrival 
    • Have at least two blank facing visa pages
    • Be free of covers

  2. Photographs

    You must provide two colour, passport type photographs that meet the following criteria:

    • Be taken within the last three months and printed on high quality photo paper
    • Be taken against an all white background
    • Be 35 mm by 45mm in size
    • Provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression
    • You may wear no headwear except for religious purposes
    • Your photos should not be affixed to your application and they may not display evidence of adhesive or staples

  3. Letter of Introduction

    You must provide a Letter of Introduction from the applicant's Belgian employer. All letters must be printed on company letterhead that displays a Belgian postal address. Use the sample Letter of Introduction, which can be found here, to complete your letter.

    All Letters of Introduction must be addressed to the Embassy. The address of the Embassy can be found here 

  4. Letter of Invitation

    An invitation letter, written by the inviting company/sponsor in this destination. A copy is acceptable. The letter of invitation must:

    • Be on company letterhead paper
    • Include the full name of the applicant
    • Specify the purpose of journey
    • Specify the number of visits (entries) to the country of destination
    • Specify the length of the visa
    • Be stamped and signed

  5. Proof of Travel Insurance

    An original written statement from the travel insurance company of the traveller. The statement must:

    • Declare that the traveller has a policy with worldwide coverage.
    • Declare that the traveller has a policy for the duration of the trip.
    • State the name of the traveller.

  6. Proof of Residency

    Proof that you live in Belgium or Luxembourg, this must be provided as:

    • A of a copy of both sides of the applicant's ID card.

    or

    • A copy of the applicant's residence permit

  7. Letter of Authorisation

    An original letter issued by the applicant authorising CIBTvisas to submit their visa application on their behalf.

  8. Copy of Passport Identification Page

    A photocopy of the information page of the applicant's passport must be submitted to CIBTvisas.

  9. Visa Application Form

    Two fully completed and signed application forms. These forms must:

    • Be completed in block capitals only
    • Be completed in black ink only
    • Be the original form. Please do not fax or email the form

  10. CIBTvisas Order Form

    Provide the CIBTvisas Order Form included in this kit.
